How to Use Analytics to Optimize Follow-Ups
Follow-up messages are a great tool for building business relationships and engaging and converting buyers. Sending the right message to the right prospect at the right time is a powerful and effective way to convince prospects to make a purchase.
Here’s how you can use iFOLIO analytics to optimize your follow-ups and drive conversions.
Send Your Campaign or Share Your iFOLIO
Once you publish an iFOLIO and send it in a campaign or share via text message or email, analytics will be automatically collected in real time. You can view these analytics by navigating to the campaign analytics tab in the admin dashboard or - if you shared the iFOLIO 1-to-1 or in a group - by opening the iFOLIO in the editor and clicking the analytics icon.
Analytics include summary statistics, shared stats, clicks on links, geography, scroll maps, and more. For campaign sends, analytics also show deliverability statistics such as email open rate, bounces, and more.

Target Outreach Using Shared Statistics
While all of iFOLIO's analytics features are useful in different ways, Shared Stats is one that we’ll focus on most in terms of optimizing follow-ups. Shared Stats show each person who the iFOLIO or campaign has been sent to. You’ll find their name, mode of delivery, delivery status, time of send, visits, duration, company name, and position title, and you can easily search the list for specific contacts based on their name, email, or company.
The most important features of shared stats are Visits and Duration. For each recipient, you can see how many times they visited the iFOLIO page and the total amount of session time. These stats show you which prospects are engaging with the content, giving you insight into who might need a push towards a conversion. Clients who opened the iFOLIO multiple times or spent a considerable amount of time viewing the page should be considered hot clients, and they should be noted or added to a list for priority follow-ups. If you want to clean up your list, you may also want to remove prospects who didn’t open your communications.
Tailor Your Messaging with Heatmaps
You can access heatmaps for individual users or sessions by clicking on the time under "Duration"or the dropdown next to their visits in the shared stats menu. The heatmap shows you which areas of the page that specific prospect spent the most (and least) time looking at. By looking at what parts of the page each prospect is most interested in, you can segment your audience and tailor your follow-up messaging to better align with their interests. If you have specific high-priority prospects that you want to focus on, it's a great idea to look at their heat map and determine what topics you might want to emphasize in your next communication to better meet their needs and address their concerns.

When you find a promising lead in the shared stats menu, you can easily follow up with just a click, streamlining the process and shortening the time to results. Following up at the right time is crucial, which makes it valuable to be able to quickly identify and engage with promising leads.
