Adding a Map to iFOLIO
Easily Add an Embedded Map to Your iFOLIO
An embedded map is an excellent event page or info site element. It gives viewers an easy view of the location of your business or event. Thanks to iFOLIO's HTML capabilities, embedding a map is easy with these simple steps.
1. Find the Location on Google Maps
2. Click Share --> Embed a Map --> Copy HTML
3. Convert a Text Box into an HTML Field
4. Paste the HTML Code into the Field
5. Preview Your Map
Find the Location on Google Maps
Open Google Maps and search for the address or location you want to share.
Click "Share" and Select "Embed a Map"
When you find the right location, click the share button. Then click on "Embed a Map" to open the share menu. From here, you can select your map size (large, medium, or small), then click "Copy HTML" to copy the HTML code to your clipboard.
Convert the Text Box to an HTML Field
On your iFOLIO page, click on the text box where you want to place your map. Toggle on the HTML switch on the right side of the text editor bar to create an HTML field. Any existing text in the text box will become invisible once converted to an HTML field.
Paste the HTML Code into the Field
Paste the HTML code from the Google Maps location into the blank HTML field you just created.
Preview Your Map
Toggle the preview switch above the text box to activate the HTML code and view the map. Once that looks good, click the preview button in the top right to view your iFOLIO as a visitor would see it. Once you ensure your map is displaying and functioning properly, you're good to go!
