Personalize the Recipient's Name, Position, and More!
Add placeholders in the email subject line. In Step 2 of the campaign app, enter placeholders in the email subject field using square brackets.
Example subject lines:
• "Hey [Name], wanna connect?"
• "Thanks for contributing to [Fund Name]!"
Segment Your List
And craft subject lines relevant to each segment. In Step 3, you will upload a contact Excel sheet. Ensure this sheet includes columns that match the placeholder names, such as Name or Fund Name.
For every contact in the sheet, fill in the appropriate values under these columns.
Use A/B Testing for Personalization Options
To see what subject lines perform best with your audience.
Example A/B outcome:
Option 1: "Thanks for Visiting, Jane! See YOUR Solution." : +20% Conversion
Option 2: "Jane's Personalized Solution!" : +8% Conversion
Send the Campaign
When the campaign is sent, the placeholders in the subject line are automatically replaced with the corresponding values from the uploaded contact sheet.
For example:
• A contact named John will receive an email with the subject line:
"Hey John, wanna connect?"
• A donor who contributed to the Ballinger Fund will see:
"Thanks for contributing to Ballinger Fund!"
This ensures each recipient gets a personalized and engaging email subject line, improving the chances of your message standing out in their inbox!
