Jean Marie Richardson is the founder and CEO of iFOLIO, a cloud computing company she founded in 2016 to transform enterprise communications and digital marketing through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.
Under her leadership, iFOLIO Cloud has enabled clients to grow up to 300%, powering increased engagement and more than $10 billion in fundraising and sales transactions, PURL reports, and real-time notifications for safety, weather, and business alerts. Growing 10X, the company has implemented more than 150 enterprise deployments across nine sectors, supporting millions of websites, digital pages, emails, and text messages.
A patent-holding innovator and tireless advocate for digital transformation, Jean Marie has dedicated her career to helping enterprises move beyond organizational silos toward a more connected enterprise.
Jean Marie founded iFOLIO after identifying a critical enterprise pain point: the massive loss of productivity that occurs when marketing, sales enablement, and communications are static and fragmented across disconnected systems. To address this challenge, she developed a business-unit architecture for digital engagement, enabling teams to manage dedicated templates, automated campaigns, digital personalization services, roles and access within a connected enterprise system, all backed by patented analytics. This approach enables organizations to scale digital communications, collaborate more effectively, and manage operations efficiently.
As a product pioneer, Jean Marie has secured three U.S. patents for customer engagement analytics, helping ensure that iFOLIO’s innovation remains proprietary and highly defensible. She continues to future-proof the company through an annual SOC 2 Type II certification and a cutting-edge product roadmap featuring proprietary analytics, PURLs, AI Assistants, Visual Email, and Contact360.
Background
Before founding iFOLIO, Jean Marie graduated with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology as a President’s Scholar and built a 15-year career in enterprise product and customer strategy at Oracle, Microsoft, and MasterCard.
At Oracle Corporation, she managed a mobile product innovation initiative and spearheaded a strategic corporate acquisition that delivered 180 converted customers and $6 million in new sales. At Microsoft, she led product management focused on mobile innovation. At MasterCard, she served as Vice President of Business-to-Business Commercial Acceptance, where she scaled a B2B Supplier Enablement program to $1.2 billion in gross dollar volume in partnership with global financial institutions.
Board Service & Leadership
Deeply committed to leadership, education, and the technology ecosystem, Jean Marie serves on the Georgia Tech Advisory Board to the President, is Chair-Elect of the Scheller College of Business Advisory Board, and serves on the Technology Advisory Committee to the Georgia Tech Foundation. She also serves on the Georgia Tech Athletics Alexander-Tharpe Fund Board of Directors and the CASE Industry Advisory Council (IAC), a key volunteer leadership body providing strategic guidance on advancing service to CASE educational partners. Previously, she served three-year terms on the Cadence Bank Atlanta Advisory Board and the Metro Atlanta Chamber Board. She chairs the iFOLIO Investor Advisory Board since 2017.
Jean Marie has been honored with six Stevie® Awards for Women in Business for achievements in business products, business services, and innovation. In 2025, she was recognized as a Georgia Tech Woman of Impact through the permanent Pathways of Progress installation on campus. She was also named a Marketing Innovator of the Year finalist by the Technology Association of Georgia in 2019.
Jean Marie speaks nationally on digital transformation, AI, and the innovator’s mindset at major conferences, universities, and through podcasts and national media broadcasts.
She is a member of First Presbyterian Church Atlanta and resides in Brookhaven with her husband, Harry Lee Richardson IV, and their dogs, Harper Lee and Beaux.
