Jean Marie Richardson founded iFOLIO in 2016 to empower organizations to expand reach with high performance saas software for communications and digital engagement.
Today, iFOLIO enables enterprises from digital marketing and sales enablement for over $4 billion in transactions, to real-time notifications for safety, weather, and business alerts.
A patent-holding innovator and a tireless advocate for digital transformation, Jean Marie has dedicated her career to helping enterprises move beyond silos to a connected enterprise. Beyond top-line expansion, Jean Marie is a disciplined operator, guiding iFOLIO's platform growth while maintaining a completely debt-free balance sheet.
Jean Marie founded iFOLIO after identifying a critical enterprise pain point: the massive loss of productivity when communications, and analytics live across multiple disconnected platforms. To solve this, she built a business unit architecture, so teams have dedicated templates, services, roles, and access, inside a connected enterprise system, all backed by patented analytics. This enables teams to scale and collaborate, while also managing operations efficiently.
As a product pioneer, Jean Marie has secured three U.S. patents for customer engagement analytics, ensuring iFOLIO's innovation remains proprietary and highly defensible. She continues to future-proof the company, earning SOC 2 Type II certification, and spearheading a cutting-edge product roadmap featuring proprietary analytics, purls, AI Assistants, visual email, and contact360.
Background
Before founding iFOLIO, Jean Marie built an exceptional enterprise career in product, customer acquisition, and P&L operations.
She managed a new mobile product innovation initiative and spearheaded a strategic corporate acquisition, delivering 180 converted customers and $6 million in new sales, at Oracle Corporation. She led product management focused on mobile innovation at Microsoft. At MasterCard she served as Vice President of Business-to-Business Commercial Acceptance, where she scaled a B2B Supplier Enablement program to $1.2 billion in gross dollar volume in partnership with global financial institutions.
A Presidents Scholar at Georgia Institute of Technology, Jean Marie graduated with honors in 2002.
Board Service & Leadership
Deeply committed to leadership, education, and the tech ecosystem, Jean Marie Richardson serves on the Georgia Tech Advisory Board to the President. She is Chair-Elect of the Scheller G.T. College of Business Advisory Board. She serves on the Technology Advisory Committee to the Georgia Tech Foundation, and on the G.T. Athletics Alexander Tharpe Fund Board of Directors. Based on her expertise, perspective, and standing within the education and advancement communities, she serves on the CASE Industry Advisory Council (IAC), a key volunteer leadership body that offers strategic guidance on advancing service to CASE Educational Partners. She served 3 year terms on the Cadence Bank Atlanta Advisory Board, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber Board. She chairs the iFOLIO Investor Advisory Board since 2017.
Jean Marie Richardson was honored with Woman of the Year and Most Innovative Woman of the Year Gold Stevie® Award for Women In Business in 2024 where women from Google, SAP, IBM, Meta, and 36 countries were recognized at the event in New York. She is a six-time global Stevie® Award winner for Women In Business. In 2023 she was awarded Best Female Entrepreneur for Business Products and Business Services - 11 to 2,500 employees. Jean Marie was honored as a Georgia Tech Woman of Impact in 2025 in the permanent installation of the Pathways of Progress on campus. Her leadership has earned iFOLIO, a WBENC-certified woman-owned company, more than 20 awards for innovation. She was named Marketing Innovator of the Year Finalist by the Technology Association of Georgia in 2019.
Jean Marie speaks nationally on digital transformation, AI, and the innovator's mindset at major conferences, universities, and across national media broadcast networks. She resides in Atlanta with her husband, Harry Lee Richardson IV, and their dogs, Harper Lee and Beaux.
