Hap Richardson

General Counsel | Attorney at Law

Harry Lee "Hap" Richardson IV brings something rare to the iFOLIO leadership team, a fifth-generation Atlantan with deep Georgia roots, a Georgia Tech engineering mind, and a Georgia State law foundation, all pointed at one goal: making sure iFOLIO operates with integrity, precision, and confidence at every level.

iFOLIO is an All-in-One platform for digital marketing, personalized communications, sales enablement, and analytics, powering millions of sites and enterprise clients at the forefront of digital transformation. Behind that platform is an operational and legal infrastructure built to the highest standards, and Hap Richardson is the person who manages that.

Hap joined iFOLIO as CFO and was promoted to General Counsel in 2025, a reflection of both his expanding impact and iFOLIO's growing sophistication as an enterprise platform. His responsibilities span the full breadth of the company's legal, financial, and operational backbone.

On the legal side, Hap manages contract strategy and litigation, cybersecurity, and capital registration in partnership with King & Spalding and Moore Ingram Hill. He oversees the annual SOC II audit with Baker Tilly, a cornerstone of iFOLIO's commitment to enterprise trust and security. Under his leadership, iFOLIO achieved continued SOC II and WBENC certifications. The annual audit covers SOC 2 controls, system architecture, secure development processes, incident response plans, onboarding and offboarding procedures, and penetration testing, ensuring iFOLIO not only meets industry standards but stays ahead of emerging risks, so clients can innovate with confidence.

In short, Hap is the engine behind the iFOLIO back office, the leader who makes sure the business running beneath the platform is as strong as the platform itself.

Hap's competitive foundation was built early. A graduate of Baylor High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he was a scholarship athlete on the Tennessee State Champion Tennis team. He carried that discipline to Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned his Bachelor of Science, and on to Georgia State University College of Law for his law degree. As founder of HLR Law, he leads a team serving commercial and residential property owners across Georgia, with 15 years of real estate experience, over 500 transactions, and more than 7,500 property tax appeals to his credit.

A fifth-generation Atlantan, Hap lives in Atlanta with his wife and their two dogs, Harper Lee and Beaux.
